Syrian Army Units Clash with Terrorists, Kill Many of Them in Several Areas

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - An official source told SANA reporter that an army unit clashed with a terrorist group in al-Ommal neighborhood in the city of Deir Ezzor and inflicted heavy losses upon its members.

The source noted that among the killed terrorists was Radwan Hussein al-Ajaj al-Aleiwi, leader of a terrorist group belonging to Jabhat al-Nusra that is affiliated to al-Qaeda.

The Armed Forces also dealt with a terrorist group that was committing acts of robbery and theft in al-Ommal neighborhood, killing a number of terrorists including Obaidah al-Mufti and injuring others.

Another unit of the Armed Forces clashed with terrorists in al-Jbeileh neighborhood, killing a number of them. Terrorist Khalid Ahmad al-Hammad was identified among the killed.

The Armed Forces confiscated a number of archeological artifacts which had been stolen by terrorists. The artifacts were found in Jabileh neighborhood east of Badreddin al-Afrian school.

In al-Busaray neighborhood, an Armed Forces unit clashed with a terrorist group, eliminating some of the terrorists including Mohammad Huweij, a terrorist group leader, and injuring the rest.

In al-Maryaiya, another unit clashed with a terrorist group, injuring some of its members and killing others including Omar Mahmoud al-Saleh al-Khazzam and Msaed Majoun al-Ammar.

The Armed Forces clashed with members of an armed terrorist group in al-Hussan village in the countryside, killing many of them and injuring others.

Scores of Terrorists Eliminated in Damascus Countryside

he Armed Forces' pursuit of terrorist groups in Damascus Countryside continued in several areas, with the army members inflicting heavy losses upon the terrorists.

An official source told SANA reporter that operations were carried out in Hejjeira and resulted in killing a number of terrorists, including Wael al-Marzouqi and Jume' al-Sahmani.

The source added that an army unit clashed with terrorists in al-Dhiyabiyeh, killing six terrorists. Terrorist Hassan Jalileh was identified among the dead.

The Clashes also resulted in destroying a mortar that had been set up inside a neighborhood in al-Dhiyabiyeh.

In Shabaa town, a unit of the Armed Forces confronted terrorists who blocked roads and committed acts of looting and vandalism and killed a number of them.

In anotehr context, maintenance workshops of Damascus Countryside Electricity Department started repair works for the networks and transmission stations which were damaged by the acts of the terrorist groups near Aqraba town.

Armed Forces Units Eliminate Terrorists in Aleppo and Its Countryside and Destroy Their Vehicles and Equipment

In Aleppo countryside, an Armed Forces unit destroyed six cars along with the weapons and munitions inside them along with a terrorist base in al-Jalaghim and surrounding areas in al-Safira.

A number of cars full of weapons, munitions and terrorists were also destroyed on the Mansoura-Baskatin road, along with four cars and terrorist gatherings in al-Maslamiye.

Armed Forces units destroyed a number of terrorist hideouts and gatherings completely in al-Zarbeh and near Amrit company in Handarat.

Another unit destroyed a number of cars loaded with terrorists, weapons and munitions on the road between al-Safira and Khanaser.

In Aleppo city, Armed Forces units carried out a series of operation against terrorist gatherings in al-Ansari al-Sharqi area, near the weddings hall in al-Naqarin, around Aleppo Citadel, near al-Maasaraniye school, Bani Zeid, and near Fatima Mosque in al-Sukkari area.

Armed Forces Destroy Terrorist Bases in al-Rastan in Homs Province

Armed Forces units carried out a series of operations targeting gatherings of terrorists in the town of al-Rastan and Talbiseh countryside.

An official source told SANA that bases of terrorists who were committing murders and vandalism near the road between Gregis and Toumin in al-Rastan were destroyed along with terrorists, weapons and munitions inside them.

In Talbiseh countryside, Army units repelled terrorists who attempted to attack the villages of Housh al-Zabadi and Oum Sharshouh, inflicting heavy losses upon them.

Border Patrol Forces Foil Terrorists' Attempt to Sneak from Lebanon into Talkalakh Countryside in Homs

Border patrol forces foiled an attempt by terrorists to sneak across the borders from Lebanon near Jesr Qammar on the Syrian-Lebanese borders, inflicting heavy losses upon them.

An official source told SANA's correspondent that the terrorists tried to sneak across the borders using an illegal crossing point referred to as "Majd" and al-Armouta site in Talkalakh countryside, but the border patrol forces thwarted them, killing or injuring a number of them while the remaining ones turned back and fled to Lebanon.

Army Unit Repels Terrorist Group's Attack on Law Enforcement Forces in Hasaka

A unit of the Armed Forces repelled an attack by an armed terrorist group on the law enforcement forces in Jabal Abdul-Aziz area to the west of Hasaka city.

SANA reporter cited an official source as saying that the clashes resulted in killing a number of terrorists and injuring others, in addition to seizing a pick-up car and various types of weapons.

Army Units Destroy Terrorists' Hideouts, Seize Weapons in Idleb

The Armed Forces carried out several qualitative operations in which several terrorists' hideouts were destroyed in Idleb countryside.

A source in the province told SANA that three pick-up trucks equipped with heavy machineguns were destroyed in the towns of Ma'arbleed and Hass.

The terrorists driving the cars were eliminated, including Abdul-Hadi Qaydouh.

The source added that another army unit clashed with an armed terrorist group and killed and wounded all of its members, adding that 3 machineguns-equipped vehicles were destroyed in Ma'arat al-Numan area.

The army also eliminated scores of terrorists who were committing kidnapping and looting acts in the areas of Ma'aratharmah, Ma'arzaitah and al-Ghadaqa in Ma'arat al-Numan countryside.

In al-Yaqubyeh town in Jisr al-Shughour area, an army unit seized large amounts of weapons and ammunition used by terrorists to attack law-enforcement posts and inflicted heavy losses upon them.

Terrorists' gathering were targeted by the Armed Forces in the city of Saraqeb and the towns of Khan al-Subul and Ma'saran, most of whom were of non-Syrian nationalities.
